Development of The Last Coiner screenplay has attracted support from the UK Film Council through the Regional Screen Agency Screen Yorkshire.

In June 2006 The Last Coiner received a further boost with support towards training costs from the UK film industry’s training body Skillset.

With the script registered with WGA and BECTU Duchy Parade Films aim through KATAPULT to have a production ready script by the end of 2006.
