Duchy Parade Films returned from the Northeast Royal Television Society (RTS) Awards having scooped the prize for Best Production by an Independent Producer and the ONE Northeast Trophy, for the short 35mm film Wilfred.

Producer/Director Peter M Kershaw was presented with the award by ITN newscaster Nicholas Owen in a ceremony in Gateshead.

It was a double honour for the film as Alistair McKenzie, Wilfred's Cinematographer, came away with the RTS & Sony award for Best Cameraman
|

|
Wilfred picked up another award this time voted for by the public at the Wood Green Film Festival in London.
The actor, Robert Duncan who is featured in the film was at the screening along with director Peter M. Kershaw.
