James feels an itch, then a scratch, then a nip. He has nits. But for a seven year old, there are some things even more worrying than hair lice.  When his parents return from the hospital James learns that grown-ups can sort out the nits, but there are some things they can’t explain so easily.

NITS by Harry Wootliff – writer/director/producer  . NITS is Harry’s first short film.

Completed earlier this year NITS has so far been successful in the following festivals –

Winner of the London SOHO RUSHES 2004 short film category,

Winner of the Turner Classic Shorts award at the London Film Festival,

Inclusion in LA, NEW YORK and CHICAGO children, LEEDS, CHICHESTER, BRADFORD, UPSALLA , MELBOURNE film festivals.

Harry’s work includes an eight part drama series ‘Freaky’ commissioned by BBC; a comedy drama series ‘Reason To Be’ optioned by RDF Drama; a two part adaptation of Jilly Cooper’s bestseller ‘Polo’ and a half hour film for the CHANNEL 4 series ‘Coming Up’ (shown on CHANNEL 4 in 2004).

She is currently writing for a new drama series for Channel Four ‘Hotel Babylon’ and also for BBC ‘US 4’.

She is represented by Michael McCoy at ICM.
