What if magic tricks really were magic ?

Young Tara is lost in a seemingly endless maze of corridors. She finds a bad tempered clerk who begrudgingly offers to help in her quest to get back home. She struggles to remember how she got here. Finally she recalls volunteering to be disappeared in an amateur magic show.

The place she is in now is magic limbo, where people and objects are stored when illusionists make someone vanish. Because the magician who performed the trick on her is not registered to do so, the Clerk has no paperwork for her arrival and thus has no way of knowing where to return her. She may be lost in this underworld forever.
