Brief Synopsis:

One can never predict what really happens in one’s life even in a very next future. The two elderly ladies’ crazy idea to make a rehearsal of their own funeral shake up the still life of the small town. The outcome of the experiment was unexpected for those ladies as well as for the young photographer and the sexy stranger girl…

Giedrė Beinoriūtė writes about her work, ‘I’m interested in developing lyric and ironical types of story. There must be not too much action and not too much dialogues in it. There must be humour or irony in the story, for sure. I like social topics as well as existential things such like love, death, freedom etc.’

Biog.

Giedre Beinoriute was born in 1976 in Vilnius, Lithuania. She holds a Master degree in film and TV directing from the Film and TV Department at Lithuanian Academy of Music. Since 2004 she is a member of Lithuanian Cinematographers’ Union and represents there the youngest generation of Lithuanian filmmakers.
